Don't miss the opportunity to own this hard to find Mark Mills designed Summit 40. Summit/King 40's have won major regattas around the world under IRC, ORC and local handicap rules.
She was originally commissioned as "Downtime" by her first owner who amassed an impressive amount of silver racing in prestigious regattas on the East Coast including many top NYYC and IRC Regattas. She was then purchased by a West Coast owner who optimized her to win the Transpac and in 2017 she was first in class 5 to finish and corrected to first overall in class 5. A few years later she was on her way back to the East coast where her 3rd and present owner has done very well under ORC and PHRF events in the Northeast. She currently is set up for Asymmetric Spinnakers off a custom sprit but could easily be converted back to a Symmetric setup.
Under her current owner she has been consistently upgraded including a full B&G 5000 system upgrade in 2019. New nonskid and deck work in 2020. New yanmar in 2022 and recent race bottom. Many new sails as well as a trailer full of good to very good backups including many barely used symmetric spinnakers.
